  	Funeral services were held at Wingate, last Monday afternoon, for Blumer Pevler, who died at his home there on January 15, due to heart trouble. Services were held at the M. E. church. Mr. Pevler was born near Mattoon, Ill., May 18, 1868, the son of Leonard and Amelia Pevler. He was united in marriage with Anna Fletcher on April 9 1891. He was a. member of the Methodist church and had been a resident of the Wingate community several years. Surviving are the widow three; -sons,- Omer, of Newtown, Carl of Wingate, and Harley, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Byron Myers, of Veedersburg, and Mrs. A. 0. Henry, of Bloomington; and two brothers, Chris. of Frankfort, and Leonard, of Danville, Ill.
