JACK E. PEEVLER
Retired CU-Boulder staff employee Jack E. Peevler died of cancer on Dec. 22, 2000, in Louisville. He was 71.
Mr. Peevler was born May 13, 1929, in Danville, Ill., to Charles Clifford Peevler and Charity Moulton Peevler. He married Eleanor Norsworthy in July 1983 in Boulder.
Mr. Peevler worked at the University of Colorado distribution center for 24 years. He moved to Boulder County in 1962.
He played the guitar and composed songs. He enjoyed country and western music and camping.
He is survived by his wife of Louisville; a daughter, Jeannett Davis of Golden; a son, Joseph Eugene Peevler of Boulder; a sister, Barbara Darnell of Vincennes, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers -- Mark, Robert, Frank and Ivan Peevler--and a sister, Carolle Peevler.
Private services were planned.
