Mrs. Charity Peevler, 82, of 1749 Adams, in Tilton, Ill., died at 5 am, today (Aug. 31, 1979) at Lakeview Medical Center, where she had been a patient one week.
Mrs. Peevler was a member of the- Central Park United Methodist Church.
Born, March 16, 1897, in Vermilion County, she was a daughter of Bruce and lda Madden Moulton. She married Clifford Peevler in Danville. He died in 1960.
Survivors include five sons, Mark Peevler of Hoopeston, Ill., Frank Peevler of Tilton Robert Peevler of Del Rio, Texas, and Ivan Peevler and Jack Peevler, both of Boulder, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Barbara) Darnell of Vincennes, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Doggett of Hillery; 25 grandchildren; 34 great- grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and three brothers.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Pape Memorial Home, with the Rev. B.C. Stine officiating. Interment will be in Gordon Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral.
